Nxt week i'll be working alone coz others cant..some sch reopen.. some not free..anyway i hope wont be boring.. think should be counting of the papers' marks.. hope no more "slave" work haha. God bless.

A few weeks ago, my auntie lend me a children book to help me understand the bible better.. tat book is quite interesting.. coz it contains proof and evidence about God.. esp in the "Discoveries from the Past" section.. let me share one example.. actaully this one, our form and physics teacher in gyss, mr tae, ever told us this before.. but i think not many ppl was listening or had forgotten eh? haha. I am typing word for word..It goes like this:
-The Dead Sea Scrolls-
"The words in your copy of the Bible were first written down a long, long time ago. They were written by men through whom God chose to speak. We don't have the first copies of the books of the Bible. But other people who knew how important God's Word is made some extra copies.
God watched over this copying of His Word. As the years passed and the old copies got lost or hard to read, new copies were made. Some of the new copies were made in other languages so everyone could understand God's Word.
If you have ever tried to copy something word for word, you know that it is hard to do it correctly. Usually there are some mistakes. People began to worry that, over the years, some mistakes might have been made in copying God's Word.
In the 1940s a discovery was made which proved that those who copied the Bible had been very, very careful. A shepherd boy in the Bible lands found a cave that had been forgotten for a long time. The cave was near the Dead Sea. Inside the cave the boy found scrolls that had been hidden in jars. One of the scrolls turned out to be a copy of the book of Isaiah (one of God's chosen prophet) - copied by people who lived when Jesus lived on earth!
People who knew a lot about what is written in the Bible checked the Bible we have today with this very old copy. They found that God had truly protected His Word. We can know for sure that what we read in our Bible is the same message God gave to the first writers.
One of Isaiah prophecy concerning Babylon is still true today.
Isaiah 13: 19-22:
"Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms,
the glory of the Babylonians' pride,
will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.
She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations;
no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there.
But desert creatures will lie there, jackals will fill her houses; there the owls will dwell,
and there the wilde goats will leap about.
Hyenas will howl in her strongholds, jackals in her luxurious palaces.
Her time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged."
No one lives in the land of Babylon today..and the city is totally in ruins..there's a photo of how the city looks like today.. but i duno how to upload the book photo haha =x

So yup.. there is the Dead Sea Scroll discovery..there's still got alot of discoveries whether scientifically or archaelogically described in that book..maybe share nxt time.
