Frederic Chopin - Etude Op.10 No.3
Description of video by author:
Images of Oradea, Romania, in 1919. This movie is about the beauty of a city, to which contributed through the centuries many nations that together lived here, cherished peace, and made a sacrifice of creation: Romanians, Hungarians, Rromas, Italians, Jews, Germans, and many more. No need for xenophobic discussions and comments that lead nowhere. I will delete all kinds of nationalist comments.
The music is the beautiful Etude Op. 10, No. 3 in E flat major 'Tristesse' by Frederic Chopin, highly regarded as a quality manifestation of Chopin's love for Romantic Opera and Poland, where he was born. During a lesson with his pupil Adolf Gutmann, the latter began weeping and cried, "Oh, my homeland!". Chopin was said to have also noted this piece as the most intimate piece he has ever composed, stating that "In all my life I have never again been able to find such a beautiful melody."
